Forsyth Youth Orchestra – FYO

• To allow students the opportunity to perform in an orchestral setting.
• To learn the basics of orchestral technique, such as watching a conductor, how to sit,
and how to play with a stand partner.
• To meet and socialize with other students who also play a string instrument.
• To learn to play various genres of orchestras music such as classical, popular and

REHEARSALS: Mondays from 6:00 – 7:30 pm

COST: For 12 rehearsals plus one concert the fee will be approximately $195

Students are required to take private lessons on their instrument.
